What Is a Dominican Chimiburger?

The chimi — short for chimichurri — is the Dominican Republic's most famous street burger, sold from food trucks and street corners across the island. What sets it apart from a regular American hamburger is the Dominican touch: it's traditionally built with seasoned beef, shredded cabbage and onion, and a signature pink sauce on soft bread.
